We are proud to introduce 8K capability across the complete range of GeoBox solutions, natively supporting inputs of 8K/1K at 30hz – with multi-projector projection mapping solutions benefitting greatly – increasing from the previous supporting input maximum of 4K/2K at 60hz.

8K upgrades will be made available for free for all GeoBox solutions (except for G403 and G105), with only a few tweaks required to PC source output timing. Previously, if display systems required 8K quality, input sources needed to be cropped into two 4K chunks, with overlaps created in advance – which added extra work and complexity to project implementation. The GeoBox 8K/1K support upgrade means that creating 8K multi-projector projection systems will no longer be complicated (see picture).

When building 8K/1K video wall, you no longer need to crop the source into two 4K contents but sending the 8K content directly to GeoBox for processing (see picture). The much simpler configuration brings down the total cost of system integration future maintenance.

With multi-projector 8K/1K at 30Hz inputs, the finer pixel pitch allows for improved imagery from shorter distance and improves larger, multi-projector display images. The video quality is equal to two 4K contents shown in one display system, utilizing PC extension modes and customised output settings.
